Still on Hiatus!
We’re still on what you call an unofficial hiatus break. There are a lot of things going on. For example I’m back in school at the moment (Accounting major, ugh) and I’m trying to get adjusted to these nine week blocks and Shane has lost all will to update. Just kidding, maybe she’ll get it back in the upcoming days. But today, today is a weird day. I’ve been out of the loop of SL for a few weeks now, but when I went through my folders I saw an assortment of things from stores so I’m going to try to blog it on my free time and force Shane to dress up with me.
The skin I’m wearing is from Plastik and it’s apart of the Elven Lionheart series. The color of choice I’m wearing is porcelain. What I like about this skin the most is the fact it comes with elf ears that already match the skin color!! Finally I don’t have to fiddle with it and worry about how it looks on other people’s windlight settings.
I also grabbed my girl to show off some new summer items that are floating around on the grid. It’s a quick blog post, but hey we’re still alive and kicking! I can’t believe Shane and I have been blogging for a year almost. That’s crazy.
Young Urban’s Mornington Crescent Cardigan
The top is one of two new things from Young Urban. I like the simplicity in Trevor Turner’s shirts. It comes on all layers and in a few muted colors. Forgive me for the short words. Real Life Fatigue is setting in. The eyes are the same as they have been for weeks now so forgive me for not blogging, and the shape has been modified. It’s my usual shape, but I modified the eyes for the skin. Do you like?

Long time no blog, eh?
Trevor Turner was fabulous and dropped Clear and I some of his new argyle sweater vests. Guess what? I LOVE ARGYLE SWEATER VESTS, and though it’s taken me a while to gear up all of my energy into making my way to this blog, there’s no way I’m not gonna tell you guys to go down and pick one up. I also noticed today that Gritty Kitty has a new hair (at least new to me!) called Da Vinci Reloaded and ZOMG, it’s the perfect thing. I’m a hat freak IRL, so in game it’s pretty much the same. In any event, onward and upward, to the pictures and style card that actually pertain to the posting at hand!
Walking in a winter wonderland… (in November but still, this is SL.)
Clear blogged before. I love when she blogs. She looks at the SL world with less congested eyes than me. Originally, when I was shooting these pictures (the first time, before I saw some hair on someone else’s blog that I wanted instead of the one I’d originally been wearing) I came up with a poem, flowing out as I walked around. It’s gone, but that doesn’t have to put a stop to me showing the awesomeness that is Winterstock. It’s a beautiful sim, I can even see that with my graphics on low. I wanted to give a feel of loneliness in the cold, using the silent hill windlight setting (which, again, am sure looks better on high or ultra) but I think with the help of the mini vodka bottle from Somethin’ in your Mouth helped a lot. Take a look. Maybe I’ll even include my style card, woop woop.

I’m back, and lazier than ever.
After a not-long-enough week across the border (my border, that is) I came home on Saturday to a surprise birthday party. I actually returned super cranky and was close to going to bed at 8pm out of a mixture of disappointment and exhaustion. I took a week to write, man, and I came back with nothing. I read a lot, though. I figured the other day I’d blog some of the things people got me for my first birthday experience on SL, since I am very much grateful to every single one of them, then I hopped over to Intrigue Co. (yes, I know) to find some new shirts I didn’t have. Naturally, I had to add these to the idea of a post I had too long ago to remember, along with the Gritty Kitty t-shirts from the poop hunt and the phenomenally suiting Merlotte’s shirts by BARCODE and Young Urban. So, uh, welcome back me.
