Lazy Sundays.
Greetings! It’s been a while since Shane and I got together to show off an outfit together. Timezones are our biggest enemy and it keeps us apart more than we care to admit. It sucks, but when you’re six hours apart from the one you want to be with you have to make due with the time given to you. Today we thought we’d get together and blog two outfits.
There are a lot of new things out on the grid. I don’t think Shane and I have had a chance to shop together, but maybe after I’m done with this, I can convince her to go on a shopping spree with me. Today’s blog shows new things from Tiny Bird, Urbanity, Maitreya, Action, and Insignia.
Also if you didn’t know, Shane is in a band! Her group, Dead Heathers, our back and ready to take over the SL grid by storm. If you’ve never heard of the band, check out their myspace page here. You can also find Shane’s page on it too. She’s a musician.
Anyway, here are the outfits we put together for our Sunday afternoon. I apologize for not getting the pose names written down. My internet has been acting up and I’ve been all over the place today. If you recognize your pose I used, please comment and I’ll credit you ASAP!

Look of Saturday
If you need any SLURLs, don’t be afraid to ask here, Plurk or in world. I delete all my landmarks because I like to have the smallest inventory possible, but I’ll help out anybody who would like it.
Killer Post time!
I realised a long time ago that the finer, funnier things in SL appeal to me. They bring me great joy. This weekend, 50L Friday brought RC Cluster’s fatpack of walrus noses to my attention. I had to buy them, and I’ve been alternating colours ever since. Along with this, rbcg. has a TON of new releases that are worth going down to take a look at, including fishies for your mouth. Wait a second, fishies and a walrus nose? Clearly, this is a Shane Kirshner Killer Post in the making. Pieced together with some awesome new hair, Awesome Blossom’s awesome SPRING group gift (too many awesome’s?) and (one of my favourite’s!) Scribble’s button scarf, I think I rock it.
Long time no blog, eh?
Trevor Turner was fabulous and dropped Clear and I some of his new argyle sweater vests. Guess what? I LOVE ARGYLE SWEATER VESTS, and though it’s taken me a while to gear up all of my energy into making my way to this blog, there’s no way I’m not gonna tell you guys to go down and pick one up. I also noticed today that Gritty Kitty has a new hair (at least new to me!) called Da Vinci Reloaded and ZOMG, it’s the perfect thing. I’m a hat freak IRL, so in game it’s pretty much the same. In any event, onward and upward, to the pictures and style card that actually pertain to the posting at hand!

I love a lot of the little things Radio Signals makes, and I have a bunch, but this (appealing to my Walking With A Ghost sensitivities) this is my favourite so far. So I’m doing a minuscule blog, linking you straight to the store where you can own one (of any colour!) for yourself.
Black Friday
Did you see the list of kick-ass stores? I did. I went to all of them too, after an early night and a sleep that was so long, I almost forgot what day it was. I spent $200L, but not because there weren’t a lot of options. There’s something for everyone. From reindeers to mistletoe to dresses-n-shiz. I’m pretty sure, though, that if you’re reading this, you’ve either:
- stayed up until midnight to get your 50L run out of the way.
- have logged in already and are loading the note card to hop to the stores you want to go to.
- checked the feeds for picture snapshots of everything, and then pick and choose where you want to go, so you miss out on nothing.
- bypassed today for later, because bitch, RL discounts > all else.
I wish we had Black Friday, ho-hum.
My favourite thing this week was definitely the sweater and shirt combo by Doppelganger Inc. (it comes in three colours!), so I posed with it. Huzzah. My new pet reindeer from Scribble made a cameo though, he couldn’t not; all boweth down in the name of Cohen.
Sickness and Unhealth.
I’ve been passed so much in the last couple of days, so I had to blog them. A-BOMB’s sweet new sneakers, EmJay’s awesome new jeans; it wouldn’t be right if I kept them all to myself without sharing the juiciness, so here we go, since I have too much indigestion and exhaustion to write.
Lots of things today.
I haven’t been feeling good lately. I lost my mojo a little bit so everything I’ve had in my inventory that’s new has been festering and waiting for the perfect day to come out. Today was that day. There are so many good releases that’s out on the grid that goes with the old things in my inventory that it was a blast to put outfits together (or POTing as Shane likes to call it) and bring you some new interesting looks. But before I get into anything, I want to announce that TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF THE NAIVE GIRL CONTEST. SEE HERE FOR DETAILS. That’s how you kill two birds with one stone.
