Shane’s RL V-Day.
What else is there to do when physically alone but lounge around your house in your underwear? St Valentine is everywhere. He’s on the radio, he’s on TV, and when yours is too far away to fathom, company is found in books (read as: video games, but I wanted to seem intellectual) and Mad Men Season 1 with your mother. Ha. Anyway, though our SL house is much better than my RL one, I tried to replicate today in picture form for fun.
New @ Pink Outfitters pt. II.
I fell in love with Pink Outfitters in the summer, when London released some V neck shirts of the most amazing textures. I was hooked. When the 50L sale hit, I went crazy, shopping to no end with my best friend. So when she offered to send some review copies of her new things to people on plurk, I had to get in on that action. The best part about her, which I think Clear mentioned already, is that she designs everything from scratch. This girl is a natural talent, and was born to do this – I’m not talking about designing purely online, but in the real world too. She can do it, and her in world clothes show you that. I’m not going to say too much more though, it’s like Silent Hill outside my window, and I feel like World Watching!
(Also, I’m really in love with L. Fauna skins. I can see why they’re going to be popular, but I don’t think I can turn away.)

Killer Post!
It’s that time again. Killer Post time. I’m still budgeting – – trying not to buy anything in SL I don’t actually want or need. In the process, I’m missing out on hairs I could have, clothes I could have and the lindens are slowly building up in my account. Awesome, right? Well, I was bored this morning, and I checked the feeds. Somebody, and I don’t remember who, but I praise you so much for doing it, blogged a drum bag and a guitar bag from Sey. Gasp, I thought to myself. That is something I need. There’ll be no shortage of use for it in my cyber-hand. I’ll take it everywhere with me; to shows, to stores, to parties. Guh, just guh. TPing right on over to the store, I had to wait for it to rez, and as soon as it had, had to hold back on buying the drum one too. I’m a guitar player, though, so it made more sense for me to get that one. They have four different sets for 380L each, 5 textures in each, and also 6 different ways to carry it. (It attaches to your left hand, or your spine.) And I don’t know, it’s awesome.
Budgeting…
I’m doing it alongside Clear. There’s no SL income coming in right now, and we’ve just moved land, so we’re trying to conserve all we can until my voice gets better. I’ve no idea how long that’s going to be, but I hope soon for my own shriveling benefit.
ACTION have released a few things over the last week. I saw it on their blog, and since they were one of the first stores I ever loved on SL, I thought I’d go on down there to get the new rolled flannel shirt. I spent most of my day while outside, thinking about what inspiration I could use to do the blog I wanted to do; Nirvana came on the radio, so it was perfect, you know, I’d pause the budget to get me a shirt and do another Kurt Cobain inspired shoot.
Naturally, this didn’t happen. It didn’t turn out that way. When I finally got home, I went on down to the store and in the pursuit of the shirt, I saw they had new hair I hadn’t yet seen. Ooh, I hissed. 400L, can I spare that much? Well, I tried the demo on, just to see how it’d look on me, and unlike the hair I bought a few days ago that didn’t suit me in the least, this actually did. Again, I pondered. 400L? Why can’t they do singles packs? (I still think singles would be a good idea) On further inspection, though, as well as further roaming around the store trying to convince myself not to buy it, I discovered that for that 400L, there’d be 9 different shades. Ah, I bit my lip, worrying Clementine Ishtari as she kept me company in IMs. “That has to be some hair for 400L,” and let me tell you; it is.

Grease is the word, almost – Pt. 1
Today brought a randomised rock star look to the table, and in passing, Clear said something about us doing a shoot/blog; the lesbian version of Sandy and Danny, so that’s what we did. Basically, it’ll be a two part post depicting the beginning and end of the movie (or near enough to). Part 1 will be the beginning of the movie; guy(girl) and girl meet on a beach on summer vacation, have an allegedly intense, few-day-long love affair, kiss and then… I SOLVE MY PROBLEMS AND I SEE THE LIGHT. Part 2, on the other hand, will be the sexy little role reversal towards the end of the film, where Sandy reemerges as a slutty whore and completely wins the affections of Danny. Grease, as you can tell, is a story of such deep morals. No, I’m kidding, but it is one of the greatest musicals of our time. Fuck “West Side Story” – though I do feel pretty, witty or gay at least once a day – Grease is one of the best, and it gets no better than John Travolta and Cha Cha; the best dancer at St. Bernadette’s.

It’s no secret. I like to put things in my mouth. Well, only in Second Life©. Well, that’s the only place I’ll admit to. When it was Christmas, I used to wear this candy cane in my mouth with every single outfit. Finally, I found a store that caters to my needs. Somethin’ In Your Mouth caters to my needs. Items here range from IPods to candy to lipstick to the weirdest things I wouldn’t ever want to put in my mouth. Most of the stuff is under 100L and with two levels, I’m sure you can come out with something if you like to put somethin’ in your mouth just like me.
AOHARU released a new baggy t-shirt and everyone on the grid seems to be blogging about it. I couldn’t help myself when I saw the shirts. It reminds me of eighties when it was the cool thing to hang your shirt off of your shoulders. (Thank you Jennifer Beals for that.) I matched it up with some leggings I’ve had in my inventory for years now that doesn’t seem to go out of style and some blue heels to give it an eighties feel. That’s all I have for now. ❤ Tuesdays drain me.
